Good afternoon, everyone! My name is wjh. I am 12 years old. Now I’m a student in Xitan School. The school is a little far from my home, so I uaually get up early and go to school by bike. My favorite subject in school is English, because it’s very interesting.
I like Chinese too. My teachers are kind and fun. I like them. I have many friends at school and we usually study and play together. On weekends, I usually go shopping with my mother, sometimes I climb moutains with my father. I love my parents very much and they love me. I like eating fruits and vegetables, because I want to be healthy. Fish is my favorite food. It’s yummy. In four seasons, I like winter best. Because I like playing with snow. I made a beautiful snowman with my parents last year. I was very happy. I hope it will snow this year too. I have a dog. His name is Xixi.

前几个礼拜，为了英语读者剧场比赛，英文老师和刘老师不停的教导我们，九位同学如何让每个句子唸得高低起伏、抑扬顿挫并加入感动观众的情感，同时告诉我们怎么以时而适当时而夸张的表情传达故事的意义。我们马不停蹄、加紧脚步的认真练习了好久。当然准备了这么久，无非不是希望正式比赛，能有优异而杰出的表现。
当天，英文老师替紧张的我们打扮得引人注目，把脸蛋画上浓浓的妆，帮头发设计造型。到了休息区先加紧认真练习，我们是第十一组，大家有时专注的练习，有时从电视中观赏其他队伍的'演出。当到了第十组演出时，我们各个冒出带着不安的汗水，脸色显露出恐惧，而老师则是拉高嗓音，不断的重复「一定得放大音量！」……等等的注意事项，这些提醒使我们更加惶惶不安！
「现在，请第十一组上台！」那时，我们各个头皮发麻，全身僵硬，勉强憋住气露出了硬梆梆、不好看的微笑。上台了，我们该大声时大声，并做出夸张的手势，且露出了牙齿，做出邪恶张牙舞爪的动作，下面的观众与评审则是，时而被我们的演出所感染而跟着微笑，时而因我们可怕的表情而露出了受惊吓的神色。下台时，我们把原先僵硬的脸蛋放轻松。此时，我们自然得露出了浅浅的微笑。
「万岁！万岁！我们入选了！」我们在三十二个参赛队中勇夺第五名！这句话在我心中不停的吶喊着、打转着，脸上同时浮现了混杂着骄傲与感动的神情。此刻，老师兴奋的又叫又跳，还自掏腰包买可乐及冰淇淋犒赏我们，这一切都要感谢老师辛苦的教导及同学们合作无间的奋力演出，期许我们在决赛中能够赢得更亮眼的成绩。

在一间书房里，时不时地会传出一句句英语句子。走近一看，我正坐在书桌前讲着一篇关于骆驼的英语故事，旁边则坐着严肃的妈妈，她时不时地给我纠正错误。这就是比赛前的我，一个将要尝试比赛的我。
经过几天的反复练习，我胸有成竹地来到了赛场准备比赛。
只见一个女孩大大方方地走上舞台，开始自我介绍。随后流利地讲起了准备的英语故事。她讲得眉飞色舞，绘声绘色。评委老师听得如痴如醉，仿佛自己也进入了她的故事。这无疑是给了我们后面的选手来了个下马威。我紧张的心情如起伏的波浪，一下子又一下地拍打着满载信心和希望的小船，我的心都快蹦出来了。这时，一个熟悉的声音在我耳边回荡：“不要气妥，不要紧张，主要你努力了，成功一定会紧紧地拉住你的手。”我的心渐渐平静下来，但还是会有抑制不住的紧张。
轮到我上场了，我怀着忐忑不安地走上了舞台。我先深深地吸了一口气，开始做起了自我介绍，但可以清晰的听出，我的声音有点微微的颤抖。讲着讲着，我仿佛看见了优质骆驼在沙漠上行走，在绿洲里吃草。接二连三的画面出现在了我的'眼前。我的心平静了下来，声音不再颤抖，人也变得大方起来了，还加上了动作和感情。当我讲完了最后一句话，又说了结束语之后，我不禁长长地吁了一口气。当我往台下看时，评委老师向我投来了赞许的目光，嘴上露出了甜甜的微笑。
晚上回到家，发现妈妈比以往都要高兴，我很奇怪。妈妈告诉我了我一个好消息：“集团，你的英语故事比赛得了全年段第一名！”我听了这个消息，高兴得差点跳了起来，这可真是一个令我振奋的好消息啊！

十二月二十二号，我和五个同学一起来到四眼碶中学参加英语比赛。
我们是第三个表演，原本非常自信，可看了前两个表演后，顿时，成了一个个泄了气的气球。就说第二个表演吧，他们演的是英文的“三打白骨精”。内容很多，也非常幽默，原本书中写的是悟空外出时，唐僧等人在原地休息，而表演的的同学们却改编成了在原地打扑克。这让全场的评委老师和同学都笑了起来。我们也哈哈大笑。不一会儿就到我们了。
我们径直走上舞台，快速布置起来。布置完背景后，我按照自己的稿子认真地念了起来。在警察出场时，闹了一个小笑话。我的旁白还没有念完时，警察就出来了。这也注定了我们的`分数会下降。表演完了后，我们下场欣赏别的同学的表演了。
我看了接下来的表演，有的表演《狐狸偷肉》，有人表演《小红帽》，还有人表演《狐假虎威》等经典的故事，我觉得我们最多只能拿最后一名，所以在心里下定了决心要好好学习英语，成为英语小能手。
比赛虽然结束了，但我一定要好好学英语。

The contest,whose aim was to let more people know the bad environmental conditions we are facing and the urgency of protecting it,was hosted by the Environmental Protection Burua.Fifty top contestants from twenty schools throughout the city took part.All of them were required to answer the questions in English in ten minutes.In order to prepare for it,I went through a very hard time.
When I was chosen to attend the competition,I felt nervous first,for my English was not good.But after a deep thinking,I made a decision that I should go for it.That's a very good opportunity for me to improve my English,as well as know more about the environmental protection which is of great importance to us human beings.I began to learn English very hard,paying much attention to the knowledge of environmental protection,such as using environmentally friendly bags instead of plastic ones,saving water and electricity and taking a bus and underground when going out.That's hard work,but I enjoyed it.
The exciting time came at last.On the morning of July 27th,20xx,thousands of people crowded at the Youth Culture Palace,watching the contest.Now it was my turn to perform.I was a little nervous at first.I tried to calm down.Soon I was OK.I answered the questions one after another,no mistakes occurring.Ten minutes passed by,I went back to my seat,smiles on my face.I did a good job.

周日的时候，我参加了英语口语比赛的复赛。地址是在人民路财富大厦六楼，时间是下午三点到4点半。比赛内容有两个，首先是自我介绍和才艺表演，然后是看图说话。妈妈说，前面我们可以准备准备，后面的内容就没办法了。所以，周日早上起来后，妈妈就让我开始准备第一部分的自我介绍和才艺表演的内容。这部分内容是妈妈帮我准备的，还和我讲了中文的大概意思。背起来可不容易。妈妈先要教我慢慢理解意思，还要教我怎么发音。一句句的教，前一句会了，就学下一句，然后两句连起来背。再叫第三句，学会了，就三句连起来背。刚开始的三句，还不难，到下面就有点难了。妈妈让我觉得难的'地方就告诉她，有的内容就去掉了，因为总共只有两分钟的时间，不能超时的。妈妈说，我只能控制在一分半钟，因为要想到正式上场的时候有可能要楞住而浪费的时间。那天的时候很难熬！我对妈妈说，正希望是星期六，这样我还可以玩一天。
我们下午2点离开家的，到那里的时候大概2点半吧。我们进了准备的教室。妈妈说，教室里空气不太好，人太多了，不如到教室外走走。我没答应。一会，妈妈把我们同学张文静找来了，她也来参加比赛的，不过和我不在一个组，比我要早一点。我都已经是一组内的最后一个了。妈妈让我和张文静在外面玩玩。我和张文静就在教室外讲话，跑来跑去的。妈妈还让我和张文静两个人先表演一下。后来，张文静先轮到了。妈妈和张文静爸爸在聊天。我就一边跑来跑去的复习稿子。我对妈妈说：“我全忘掉了，怎么办？”妈妈对我说：“不要背了，忘掉就忘掉吧。其实你已经背得很熟了，再这么背下去，就显得你的自我介绍时间太短了。”可我还是不放心。
终于轮到我了。我这一组就剩两个人，除了我还有一个一年级的弟弟，长得比我高半个头呢。他在幼儿园的时候就参加过了。他的自我介绍很短，然后唱了《十个印第安》的歌曲，还讲了一个故事。图片说得不多。然后是我，我把我的自我介绍讲完后。我就选了5号。结果出现的一幅图是一个医生和一个女孩。内容太少了。我想到的是医生是爸爸，女孩是他的女儿。爸爸下午不上班了，女儿看见爸爸回家，很开心。但我没有那么多词汇，不知道如何讲出我心目中的故事。妈妈说，要好好学，多学点，才能把心中所想的说出来，要不就像哑巴一样了。
